The Villa.

The villa sits on a flat corner plot of 513m2 and is accessed via driveway gates to private parking for your vehicle or by a pedestrian foot gate with path leading to the villa through a small rose garden.

The villa is access via a raised and shaded Naya which is the perfect spot to enjoy long lunches and evening meals watching the sun dip behind the mountains and enjoy the amazing sunsets afforded in the valley almost every evening.

From the Naya you enter the open plan L-shaped lounge and dining room. The lounge has a pellet burner for the short winter months as well as underfloor heating, however this is rarely used. There is a UK tv point, however there is 1000mbps Wi-Fi internet available if you prefer to stream your tv.

The villa was originally designed to have 4 bedrooms, however in this villa the second downstairs bedroom has been made into a dining room with French doors leading to the pool patio (it can simply and cheaply be made back into a 4th bedroom if needed).

There is a galley style kitchen with more than ample work surfaces and storage solutions and a back door leading to the rear garden.

You will also find on the ground floor a double bedroom with built in wardrobes as well as a guest bathroom.

On the first floor there are a further two double bedrooms (both with fitted wardrobes), the second bathroom as well as a roof top solarium which is accessible from bedroom 3 or the landing area at the top of the stairs.

Exterior.

Of course the pool is the focal point of any Spanish villa. The villa boasts a 9mx4m private pool (with cover) and a very large pool terrace with plenty of room for sun loungers, shaded pergolas and al-fresco dining if required. The garden has been planted around the perimeter and very easy to maintain. There is off road parking to the side of the villa, two garden shed, a storage space next to the back door and two storage areas for the central heating boiler.

The villa is connected to mains drinking water, mains electricity and drains. The villa has hot and cold air conditioning throughout as well as a pellet burner and underfloor heating. Hondon Valley Homes sold this villa to the vendor so the paperwork is fully up to date and a quick and easy sale is possible.

Why Hondon?

The Hondon Valley is a hugely popular destination for astute buyers in Spain for many reasons. One of the main reasons is its natural beauty. The valley is known for its picturesque landscapes, with rolling hills, almond and olive groves, and vineyards. The area is also known for its mild climate, with warm summers and mild winters, which makes it a great place to live all year round.

Another reason people are drawn to the Hondon Valley is its traditional Spanish culture. The area is known for its small, traditional villages…. Hondon de las Nieves, Hondon de los Frailes and La Canalosa, many of which have been virtually unchanged and retain the rustic beauty with the addition of coffee shops, bars, restaurants and 1000mbps wifi. The villages are steeped in history and offer a glimpse into the traditional way of life of the region whilst having all the modern amenities of supermarkets, shops, medical etc.

The Hondon Valley is also an attractive place for people looking for a relaxed and peaceful lifestyle. The area is known for its friendly and welcoming communities, and has a strong sense of community spirit.

Additionally, the Hondon Valley is an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts. It offers a wide range of activities, such as hiking, cycling, horse riding, and bird watching. This area is also known for its excellent golf courses (Font del Llop and Alenda), which are popular with golfers of all levels.

In summary, the Hondon Valley is an attractive place for people looking for a combination of natural beauty, traditional culture, a relaxed and peaceful lifestyle, and outdoor activities.

I call the Hondon Valley my home and have done since 2006……. and so should you.
